It's important to ensure the colour of your bridal veil matches the colour of your gown. We provide FREE sample swatches of the veil material, folded to show the depth of colour, to enable you to make the comparison. Another indication of the attention to detail which ensures customer care remains at the heart of our business.

Please note that any of the above shades can have the embroidery highlighted with a colour thread of your choice, including Gold or Silver.

All Pauline Nichol Veils are made from 72" wide Tulle and are available in all lengths. They can also be made from 108" width fabric if so desired.

Pauline Nichol Bridal Veils Lengths and Sizes
Above are the standard measurements for Pauline Nichol Bridal Veils.

All veils above a size 72" in length are manufactured from 72" width Tulle. They can also be made from 108" width fabric if so desired giving a more fuller veil.

Each veil is made from an oval piece of fabric with a section gathered to make a separate tier, often referred to as the 'Face' veil. This is the part of the veil traditionally worn over the face during the marriage ceremony and put back to expose the face before leaving the vestry.

A 54" size veil - often referred to as 'Shoulder' length - has the face veil of 26" leaving a longer, second tier of 28".

A 72" size veil - often referred to as 'Hip' length or 'Fingertip' length - has the face veil of 30" leaving a longer, second tier of 42".

A 108" size veil - often referred to as 'Floor' length - has the face veil of 30" leaving the longer, second layer of 78".

A 144" size veil - often referred to as a 'Cathedral' or 'Train' veil - has the face veil of 30" leaving the longer, second layer of 114".
