  • By placing an order with Pauline Nichol Bridal Veils you will be indicating your acceptance of these terms and conditions, which form a legally binding contract between you, the customer, and Pauline Nichol Bridal Veils.

  • All Pauline Nichol Bridal Veils are made to order, even the non customised veils, therefore manufacture takes eight weeks. However, as we appreciate that sometimes a veil is needed before this time, we are pleased to say that a 'Rush' order can be accommodated in four weeks and is subject to a non returnable £10.00 surcharge.

  • Customised veils for designs and sizes other than those listed on the website are subject to a surcharge of £10.00.

  • Once payment has been received then the order will be processed and manufacture of the veils put into production.

  • All payments will be shown in British Pounds Sterling at check-out.

  • We accept payment by Paypal, Cheque or Postal Order.

  • Claims for refunds or replacement of faulty or damaged goods must be made, and the goods returned to us, as soon as possible after you discover the fault or damage. The cost of returning faulty or damaged goods to us will be borne by us.
  • You also have the right to decide within 7 working days of receiving the goods not to keep them and to return them to us, but please note that you must pay the cost of returning any goods that are not faulty or damaged. A refund will be made minus the postal charges.
  • All goods must be returned in their original condition and packaging. You are entitled to remove the goods from their packaging as required for examination purposes but you will be liable for any loss of value resulting from further use of the goods and for any soiling or damaging of them. Returns cannot be accepted for any goods worn or used for another purpose.
  • Goods that have been custom-made to your own specification are non-returnable according to the distance selling regulation.

  • We will endeavour to keep postage charges to a minimum. These rates are based on current Royal Mail tariffs plus a postage, packing and handling allowance. The website will automatically calculate the postage costs based on the weight and delivery zone. These charges can be seen at all times in your shopping basket.
  • In order to keep delays to a minimum please ensure that you have selected the correct world zone. Pauline Nichol Bridal Veils cannot be held responsible for delays due to insufficient postage.
  • All items are delivered via Recorded Delivery (UK) or via "Airsure" - signed for worldwide. This system allows for all despatched items to be electronically tracked.
  • Some items have a different expected delivery schedule so please check all delivery details before ordering.
  • Multiple purchases of items with differing delivery schedules will be stored until all items are available for despatch.
  • Please note that any goods found to be faulty upon receipt will be replaced but time must be allowed for returned goods to arrive back to us before replacement goods are despatched.

  • We will not ship to a PO Box number. It is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery address provided is a deliverable one. If a flat or apartment, the flat or building number must be clearly stated. Non Deliverable Items
  • If any item fails to be delivered due to an error in the address submitted on the order, shipping costs will not be reimbursed and we will not be accountable for late delivery. Re-shipping charges will be charged to the customer before the goods are re-dispatched. Lost Items
  • All items are despatched using a track & trace system.
  • Once an item has been despatched, delivered and signed for, Pauline Nichol Bridal Veils cannot be held responsible for the goods.
  • If your item has not been signed for the Royal Mail will not accept that they are lost until 14 days has elapsed from the despatch date. After this point we can make a claim for the lost goods and despatch new goods to you.
  • If you are concerned about getting your items safely you can opt to have them sent via Special Delivery which is a GUARANTEED next day service. There will be a surcharge of ?10.00 for the Special Delivery option and orders must be made by telephone. Special Orders
  • Special Orders cannot be exchanged unless deemed faulty. This includes all items which are made to order including veils. All credits will be reimbursed to the card that the order was charged on purchase. Privacy Policy
  • All personal contact and financial information supplied to Pauline Nichol Bridal Products is used solely to complete the transaction for which it was provided. Returns Policy Returned goods will be credited in full (less the cost of postage) on all Veils, Tiaras and Headpieces ordered via this website providing:
  • We are notified immediately on receipt of order.
  • The goods are returned postmarked within 7 days of reciept
  • The goods show no signs of damage due to excess handling (unless previously notified on the day of receipt
  • The goods are packed with care in their original box
  • The goods were not custom made (unless faulty)
  • They are suitable for re-sale
  • We cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit. We recommend that you use a trackable Recorded Delivery Service and retain proof of posting. If the goods are found to be defective in any way you must immediately notify us on receipt and return to us within the 7 day return period. We will replace with an identical item and pay all postage costs. We will not accept any returns after the 7 day return period has elasped.
